Off Trail Market was founded by Jerry Wright and Matt Fish, longtime friends and elk hunting partners. It started with Gunnison Gear, the products we built for backcountry hunters. Making the gear turned out to be the easy part. Getting it in front of the right people was not.
That challenge led to a realization: small and mid-sized independent makers in the hunting, hiking, and camping world didn't have a home of their own. Great gear made by people who actually use it was hard to find.
So we built one. Off Trail Market is where independent outdoor brands and the people who love the outdoors find each other, with the stories behind the products right up front.
